1 Day Walk or Ride the Queen Charlotte Track from Torea Bay to Anakiwa

Enjoy spectacular views as you climb the main ridge between Queen Charlotte and Kenepuru Sounds. Follow old bridle paths through regenerating forest that is home to Weka, Silver Eyes, Fantails and many more native New Zealand birds.

Take time to look back over the distance covered during your walk and take in the breath-taking vistas. Your adventure ends with a gentle walk through the magnificent beech forest to Anakiwa where your boat will meet you at 3.30pm to return you back to Picton.

Depart Picton on the scheduled 8:00am (1 October - 30 April) departure to Torea Bay and walk the 21km to Anakiwa.  

Notes:

1. All resorts operate a closedown period over the winter months so there may be no café facilities available at the end of your walk. Please contact our reservations office to check for current availability.

On Board Facilities

To reduce environmental impact Beachcomber Cruises no longer use any single use cups on board any of our vessels. We have reusable souvenir keep cups available to purchase in the office prior to departure, we then provide complimentary tea and coffee to enjoy during the tour.
