Overview
Departing Picton at 10am you will arrive in Mistletoe Bay at approximately 10.15am.
Take the road from the jetty at Mistletoe Bay to the Te Mahia saddle where you join the Queen Charlotte Track for the Anakiwa Wilderness Walk. High above the water, you will follow old bridle paths through regenerating forest. Kamahi, kanuka, manuka and nikau palms provide shelter for ferns and delicate orchids and a home for weka, silver eyes, fantails and many other native birds.
The last hour is an easy hike through mature beech forest to Anakiwa, the home of the Cobham Outward Bound School. Pick up from Anakiwa Jetty is at 3.30pm for the return to Picton.

Notes:
- Between 1 December and 1 March bikes are recommended to go on the 8am departure to Ship Cove.
- All resorts operate a closedown period over the winter months so there may be no café facilities available at the end of your walk. Please contact our reservations office to check for current availability.

On board Facilities
To reduce environmental impact Beachcomber Cruises no longer use any single use cups on board any of our vessels. We have reusable souvenir keep cups available to purchase in the office prior to departure, we then provide complimentary tea and coffee to enjoy during the tour.
