Overview
Kaipupu Sanctuary is a community conservation project in the middle of Picton harbour, restoring a40-hectare peninsula back to its original wilderness.
Beachcomber Cruises is pleased to be able to offer water transport to the sanctuary to walk the 2.7km loop track, and enjoy the bird song, native forest, and stunning views of Queen Charlotte Sound.
We recommend 2 hours on Kaipupu, take a self-guided walk, and explore this beautiful sanctuary.
Make sure you get the Toyota Kiwi Guardians code at the lookout, then go to the DOC website and put in the Kaipupu Sanctuary code word to receive a Kiwi Guardians certificate and medal for this adventure.
