2 Day thrilling Mountain Bike adventure on the Queen Charlotte Track staying at Lochmara Lodge

Day One

Depart Picton the 8:00am scheduled departure to Ship Cove for your days ride to Lochmara Lodge. Covering around 60km on this thrilling adventure you will enjoy the best scenery with steep climbs, downhill twists and turns, biking around the coastline, through native forest, along old bridle trails and gaining elevation on the Keneperu and Torea saddles before ascending down into the idyllic Lochmara Lodge. Enjoy your well deserved rest at the lodge, lounge in a hammock or on the beach and don't miss out on a fantastic evening meal in the lodge restaurant.

Day Two

From Lochmara Lodge enjoy a restful breakfast and check out - don't forget to pick up your packed lunch, leaving your bags at Reception for us to collect - head out onto the Queen Charlotte Track for a 15km easier grade walk to Anakiwa where the water taxi will collect you at 3:30pm to bring you back to Picton or from here ride an additional 24km either by road or the link pathway to complete your journey to Picton. Your bags will be collected and will be back in Picton waiting for you.
